Topic: "Selected Wifi does not match the device"

Hi,

I am experiencing an error in which I connect my iPhone to the ESP8266 module using code that previously has worked many times and on the app I receive the message "Selected WiFi network does not match the device. Choose the Wi-Fi network in iOS settings." In settings I am connected to the network but it does not seem to register on the app. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, any ideas on how to fix it?

Also if I try and create a new connection it gives an error saying "WiFi SSID error"

It looks like this is a new feature of the new version of ios that does not allow the application to see the current wifi network. We will study and test.
Try the following:
1. In settings connect to the network.
2. In app go to add device and select connection by Ehternet
3. Enter IP address  192.168.4.1 and default port.
4. Press connect button
