Topic: New android 8 device no Wifi point RemoteXY pro

Hi,

I got a new android device to replace my S6, it's an sony XZ1 compact on android 8 Oreo.

I installed RemoteXY pro, autorised position demand, turned on wifi.

But when i want to add new device as Wi-Fi point, there isn't any access point.

Can you help me, I got for few month a nodeMCU that worked nicely with my S6.

Hello, we could test it when we get device on Android 8.
Try to look and enable the location permission for RemoteXY app

It works thanks!

But you have to enable location permission for RemoteXY, that I done, AND in parameters -> Google -> position : Enable

I got another problem with connexion, but i'll create new topic, it's about autoenable Wi-Fi option.
