"Device not reply" error message in iOS app

Hi there,

I'm trying to connect the RemoteXY iPhone app to an MLT-BT05 (fake HM-10) module.

The module appears in the Bluetooth LE device menu, and the red light on the module turns solid showing that the connection is being attempted. In the end though, I always get a "Device not reply" error.

I've tested the module using the Bluetooth Serial iOS app, and this is working fine.

I guess perhaps the module I've got just isn't supported by the iOS app? Any advice much appreciated!

Hi everyone,

Problem resolved. I think what did it was first changing the module TYPE to 3 (AT+TYPE3), followed by pairing the module with my iPhone through the phone's general Bluetooth settings menu.
