Can I hide a Page button.

My project  has 2 pages and 2 buttons that link to each page. These 2 buttons show in both pages. I'd like to have 1 button for each page, such as, page 1 has a NEXT button which links page 2, then at page 2, I'd like to have BACK button links back to page1. But, I can't find the way to keep 1 button for 1 page. If i remove a button, the page that links to a button was removed too. Am i miss something.
