How to install support for Arduino MKR 1000 in Remote xy?

Did you ever receive any response?  I'm also very interested in RemoteXY running on SAMD21 based boards.  Specifically the MKR 1010 Wi-Fi development board.

I've got the latest Arduino download 1.8.13 the library RemoteXY 2.4.6 and I was able to hack the library with WiFiNina and get AP mode working.  But I'm most interested in running over Bluetooth.

I downloaded the beta library 3.1.3 Beta (17.02.2021) and really like the idea of the new features, but the examples won't even compile?
