Topic: Regenerate a RemoteXY project ???

I have to modify a project I made several years ago, but unfortunately the project file has been inadvertantly overwritten, by later modifications (my bad !).

I have the RemoteXY "include" text from the sketch, but not the GUI configuration that matches that file.

It would be great if I could import the text file into the editor, and it created a new project file with the original GUI and controls that the sketch was compiled with.

It would be a very handy tool to have ...

Maybe you are right. it would be convenient. But developing the reverse conversion is additional work. It is also necessary to support fairly old versions of the interface and ensure their conversion to the current version. This additional work will slow down our progress.
Also. In this case, your graphical interface that you have developed can be very easily restored by other people. It is enough to get the source code or data from flash memory.
