Topic: Save control and events

The software allows you to save a history of controls and events for later use, for example, in an Excel spreadsheet

Re: Save control and events

Does it ?

Or is that what you want it to do ?

What possible use is a history of controls and events ?

Why can't you save a history locally in the EEPROM address space of your controller ?

2B, or not 2B, that is the pencil ...

Re: Save control and events

Good night. No, my system does not have that application. I wanted to know if it is possible to implement it in the application similar to how a scada would do it.

Re: Save control and events

Yes. You can save the data to a .csv file. Open the device settings by holding the device button in the RemoteXY app. Open the Sessions section. Select the session you want to save.

Re: Save control and events

Good afternoon. Perform a test and it does indeed store the session data. In any case, what I am needing is to store the events, alarms and commands locally on the cell phone during the course of that session. Could this be possible in a future update?

Re: Save control and events

Did I understand you correctly, you need to preserve the history of only some events that you consider important? We are currently working on notification functionality. All notifications will be visible in a special log. Some notifications will be shown as push notifications. Notifications will be logged even if you are not directly connected to the board.

Re: Save control and events

Yes, what is necessary is to store event or alarm information with date and time in a database, Notifications that are important previously selected or automatically. For example, a command was sent to start or stop a pump. Or there was an intruder in a building. That is, they are events, commands or alarms that are recorded in a database generated by the RemoteXY application and that the user can view to know what date and time they were carried out, as if it were an Excel spreadsheet.

Re: Save control and events

Another suggestion is to be able to receive a notification or alarm sound of activation of some variable when the cell phone screen is off.
If the screen with the software is active, the alarm appears and the corresponding sound is played. But if the screen is off at that moment even though the software is running, there is no type of notification. Only a small imperceptible click is heard.
